Alan A. Gumbel

  • Provided educational consulting for various school districts including Little Rock and Altheimer in Arkansas and strategic planning for Meridian, Mississippi district
  • Provided coaching for community workforce alliances for the Foundation for the Mid South and community alliances participating in Kellogg Foundation's Mid South Delta Initiative that were engaged in small business training and community based tourism strategies, 1999 forward

Dianne Williams
Southern United States Associate

  • A community development consultant who specializes in organizational, leadership, and rural community development training and program design. She is also a faculty member of the Asset Based Community Development Institute at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a certified mediator
  • A native Arkansan who grew up in Stuttgart and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She received a master's degree from George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduation, Williams returned to Arkansas and worked in the Stuttgart Public Schools for three years. She has also been reference librarian at the Arkansas State Library, information center supervisor at the Arkansas Department of Education, and a part-time instructor at the University of Central Arkansas
  • A member of the staff of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation from 1988 through 1998. During that time she served as senior program officer, director of communications, and public policy officer. Prior to joining the Foundation staff, she was a communications consultant and partner in Carson & Williams Communications in Little Rock, Arkansas
  • Served as a mission volunteer for the Presbyterian Church (USA) at Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska in 1999. She was the assistant to the SJC director of development and worked to establish a communications and public relations office for the campus
  • Published several articles on fund raising and information management and has presented many workshops on communications, long-range planning, grant proposal writing, board roles and responsibilities, and citizen-centered community development

Tommy Jameson

  • Earned BA in Architecture from University of Arkansas.
  • Managed architectural rehabilitation as a practicing architect for dozens of Arkansas' public structures including the Capitol, historic Bathhouse Row at Hot Springs National Park, historic train depots and movie theaters, the Delta Cultural Center, and Mosaic Templars National Headquarters Building, 1980-2003.
  • Developed Master Plan for Little Rock's Capital Zoning District Commission for two neighborhoods surrounding Capitol and Governor's Mansion.
  • Strong Competencies: Historic preservation architecture, community design charettes, master plans for buildings and public spaces, project management, and neighborhood redevelopment.


Claudette Romious

  • Has over 25 years experience as a workshop leader, facilitator, community/economic development coach and college educator
  • Earned a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington
  • Certified by Target Training International in 1982 to administer and interpret the Personal Insights Profiles for team building, leadership training, and executive management development
  • Consults with a federal government division of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services agency to develop a prototype training and manual on how to sustain treatment services when a funding source is finished
  • Has worked with clients in North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East
  • Known for her ability to establish a rapport with diverse groups and individuals
